Invitation to ORIOLE survey 2013

This survey is being conducted by the Open Resources: Influence on Learners and Educators (ORIOLE) project. It aims to collect and share data about how learning resources are used and sourced in higher education (i.e. university-level education).

This is a topic which is expected to be of relevance to anyone who is working directly in delivery of learning and teaching, and those who support this work. ORIOLE hopes that you will take part and disseminate the survey link to others: http://bit.ly/OERsurvey_2013.

To allow for wide circulation the survey will close on 30 April 2013. Please spread the word now so that we can reach a broad audience.

This is the second survey conducted by ORIOLE. This version targets increased international participation. The survey is available in English and Spanish options. The data will be made available as open data and you are invited to remix the data or the questions. Please let us know what your plans are, or what the results are.

We appreciate the time you give to completing the survey. As with the previous survey rather than offer a prize as a reward we will donate £300 to Oxfam education programmes, with respondants choosing the specific initiatives to receive money.

Further information about ORIOLE can be obtained from the project website. Comments on the survey can be made at the end of the survey or by contacting Chris Pegler (chris.pegler@open.ac.uk) or Gema Santos-Hermosa  (msantoshe@uoc.edu
